Wings of Hope
Butterflies for Connor

The Request:
Butterflies for Connor
"I am a first grade teacher in Massachusetts. Connor, one of my first grade students was recently killed by a dog. I want to have something special, symbolic and meaningful for my students to remember at his commerative Memorial ceremony. The kids are all so little and innocent and I thought of having a butterfly release and how fitting and hopeful it would be to remember their friend. The Memorial will be held June 15, 2006 at 9:30 A.M. in Lunenburg MA.

Go Soar with Angels….
Go soar with angels
Let your young soul take flight
up through the clouds
And toward that glorious Light
Pass the moon and the stars
Leave this world far behind
New Treasures and adventures
You most surely will find
Bicycles, trucks, trains
And other little boy things
Have now been replaced
By a pair of soft downy wings
Go soar with angels
With great grandparents play
Stay close to their sides
And they will show you the way
All around Heaven
Cause there is so much to see
And when you meet Jesus
Ask him this one thing for me
Take care of my baby
Who is so far from home
Let him know he is loved
And never leave him alone
Go soar with angels
Listen for my voice everyday
As I kneel by your bed
To you, these words I will pray
I love you my son
With every bit of my heart
And that never will change
Even though we’re apart
But wherever you fly
so far out of sight
Please come back everyday
And kiss mommy and daddy….goodnight
