What is Wings of Hope, Inc.?

Wings of Hope began as a special program of the IBBA in 1999. Wings of Hope, Inc. became an independent charitable organization in 2006, but remains affiliated to the IBBA.

Wings of Hope is designed to provide the opportunity for children and families in crisis to encounter butterflies - and allow those butterflies to bring encouragement to those who need "lifting up" because of difficult life circumstances. Special Announcements 11/12/07 I have two very exciting announcements to make… The results are in, and we at Wings of Hope are EXTREMELY happy to announce that through your generous donations by giving to the Butterfly lovers Baskets, purchasing raffle tickets, and Nigels’ consultation, we were able to raise $2,515.00. This will go a long way to help defray the cost to operate Wings of Hope. Thank you Thank you and Thank you again. And last but certainly not least, we are very excited to announce four new members to our board for the 2008-2010 term: Anne Collins, Nancy Hobart, Grace Venters, & Kathleen Zeimer. Welcome aboard. International Butterfly Breeders Association members work to donate butterflies for organizations and special events that are uplifting in times of tragedy, loss, and also celebrations of the human spirit!

Wings Needed?

Please read about the Wings of Hope Program to see if your organization or event falls within the guidelines. Please submit your request on the form HERE to see if your event is appropriate to this program. For further information please contact the Wings of Hope Coordinator.

WOH requests applicants and recipients to stay in contact with their WOH Coordinator about seeking and/or finding donated butterflies from other sources. This will allow WOH to plan accordingly and will facilitate quick communication regarding the status of contributions and resources available.

Wings of Hope accepts monetary donations which are charitable contributions and deductible on the donor's tax return. You may donate via PayPal or send a check payable to Wings of Hope, Inc., 10 Beebe Road, Monson, MA 01057.

A receipt for your tax records will be sent to you
