We have been breeders since 1995! Terry Terbush was a member of the original IBBA Board of Directors prior to the incorporation of the IBBA. He has been a lepidopterist since the age of 7! Melanie McCarthy took the initiative to compile and present the first IBBA Position Paper on Butterfly Releases entitled: "Unsure About Butterfly Releases." She is Chair of the Bylaws Committee. She was a Board Member of the IBBA for six years and is Past President, IBBA. Both have been actively involved in matters concerning the butterfly breeding industry. Both are passionate about continuing the effort to bring this industry to the attention of appropriate officials so that grant monies may become available to conduct the studies necessary to solidify a strong position for this industry in the economy. Both plan to remain pro-active in this industry and will do what it takes to accomplish the goals of the Trade Association. Thank you.
